I hold a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Zaragoza and specialised in Gynaecology and Obstetrics at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), where I also earned a PhD with honours. Additionally, I am a specialist in Tropical Medicine from the University of Barcelona.

I am currently the Head of the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics at Igualada General Hospital. Previously, I worked as an attending physician in the Gynaecology Department at Mutua de Terrassa Hospital and at Beboro Hospital (Republic of Chad, Africa).

I serve as President of the Endoscopy Section of the Spanish Society of Gynaecology and Obstetrics (SEGO) and as President of the Minimally Invasive Gynaecologic Surgery Section of the Catalan Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I am a member of the Catalan and Spanish Expert Group on Pelvic Floor and the Director of the International School of Gynaecologic Endoscopy (eideg.com), based in Igualada, with two branches in the Dominican Republic and El Salvador.
